Clearing up Confusion int the Home Business Industry
At the times trying to make money online can seem like one big mess if you don't know what you're getting into. So I want to provide some useful tips to help you get started right.
First of all you must realize that marketing is marketing and your main job no matter what opportunity you're in is to drive traffic to your website using all the various tools and resources available to you.
So always pick the opportunity or business that will work for you and your current financial situation since the absolute worst thing you can do is spend all your money to get started and then have nothing left over for marketing and your necessities. Sometimes you'll get great results from a certain type of marketing while other times that same method won't get you any result at all. Don't Prospect Job Seekers
A friend of mine named Chuck R came up with the brilliant idea of posting ads in the job posting sections of top classified sites and even made a website which made it seem like the opportunity was for a paid by the hour job. When in fact it was for a business opportunity which was around $100 to join.
Now $100 is a good price but unfortunately when i used the same method and website i was getting tons of people easily contacting me for more info about the "job" and also sending me resumes. There was even one girl from Calgary who sent me a resume and even included an attractive picture of herself wearing a cowgirl hat at apparently a rodeo or out door party (great picture but not really what you'd want to send with a resume to a possible employer.
anyways what happened with 90% of these job seekers is that they're looking for a job where they get paid by the hour and a boss owns their ass and tells them what to do. And real funny how these people have no hesitation to spending hundreds on cellphones and ipods but then get all mad or lose interest when they see they have to spend a few measly hundred bucks for a potentially life changing opportunity where they'll get to make money while making lots of new friends and meeting like minded people
