The unfortunate truth is that whenever something bad happens most people tend to dwell on it to much until it gets to a ridiculous proportions. Some people might keep reliving the same moment over and over while others will become stuck in a rut of negative self destructive behavior.
Sure its ok to be negative for a short while, but then you should take a step back and ask yourself if things are really so bad and what you can learn from the incident or obstacle which will help you to grow and become a better individual
